2014 Bataleon Distortia Snowboard Review
We have given the Bataleon Distortia a high Shred Cred for many years now. It’s because it’s such a versatile yet playful snowboard. It falls in the category of a one snowboard quiver. The 2014 Bataleon Distortia snowboard is not too soft or too stiff. The TBT (Triple Base Technology) is not for everyone, but it proves to be much less catchy. And because of the TBT and the flex we also recommend this snowboard to beginner lady shredders.
Bottom line, the 2014 Bataleon Distortia snowboard is a fun and playful all-mtn snowboard. If you’re an experienced rider you may have to give it some time to learn the TBT edges, but if you do, you’ll love it.

2014 Bataleon Distortia Snowboard Flex Test Video:
From Bataleon Snowboards:
There is nothing ‘girly’ about the DISTORTIA except for the female specific PARK TBT for ladies’ lighter weights and a narrower outline for ladies’ smaller feet. PARK TBT is good for all types of freestyle riding. It pops like a cambered board, but presses like a rocker and is very forgiving. A true twin board with a responsive CORE CORE and a soft-mid flex keeps the board playful and super poppy without losing stability at high speeds. The DISTORTIA is an all round park destroyer for girls who shred. You know when we make a board it has to perform with crazy pop and have high performance, regardless of any gender issues.
