2014 Rossignol RocknRolla Snowboard Review
While it’s debatable on whether the Rossignol RocknRolla is the first snowboard to have spoon edges 360° all the way around the snowboard, it’s for sure the most fun. As you may know the concept of spoon edges is not new. From vintage Morrows to Burton boards the concept has been tried over the years. And no company has put more into it than Bataleon with their TBT. But Rossignol is touting to be the first to raise all of the edges off of the snow. The edges are raised 1.5mm off of the snow, making you have to tilt 3° or more in order to engage them.
All of this edge talk means the Rossi RocknRolla snowboard is all about jibs, jibs, and more jibs. It’s not super soft, but it is soft enough to press out with no problem.
Also, the RocknRolla is a great beginners board because it is truly catch free.
Bottom line is if you’re looking to avoid the smack down from catching an edge, from boxes, rails, or whatever, you should take a look at the 2014 Rossi RocknRolla.
