2011 Flow Era

Board Insiders Notes:
Generally we don't talk about the graphics of a board, but this years Era are insane. Not sure how they got the colors to be so super bright, but it's cool.
From the manufacturer:
The all-new Era with added carbon is modified this year for more pop and aggressive park and all-mountain riding, and we ain’t kidding. The Era will allow you to charge cliff lines, blast off park kickers and attack the rails with little effort, thanks to the technology dripping from this stick. I-ROCK allows you to carve hard without slipping out, while Whiskey Royale technology keeps the board stable at high speeds and EZTraditional sidecut makes turn initiation easier than ever.

Responsive turning on steeps and in powGreat popGood flex for boxes and railsEasy to butter and press
|
Chatter at high speedsSquirrelly on the flats and when straight liningWould have liked more responsive turning edge to edge, feels too looseDidn't feel stable enough for big booters

Like last year's Flow Era, its pop steals the show.
Two years ago, the Era had a convex base. Last year, they gave it reverse camber, but not a convex base. For 2011, the Era features both reverse camber and a convex base. We understand that this many make it less catchy, but the side effect is that it didn't perform as well all mountain. It feels loose and lessens edge hold.
It's ideal for riders wanting a stiffer reverse camber that gives you good pop and reminds us of the Ride DH2.
