Tour of Burton’s 2015-2016 Snowboard Showroom
Between SIA, Interbike, CES, and few more, we cover a lot of trade shows. Sometimes it’s as Board Insiders, sometimes as Bike Insiders, and sometimes as a hired video crew. There is one trend that keeps cropping up, prices are going up, fast. Maybe because of this, maybe for other reasons, large companies are starting to pull out of trade shows. For example Trek and Specialized no longer attend Interbike. Some of the big companies have chosen to follow Apple and do their own show. Burton this year decided have a small presence at the 2015 SIA with Anon and LTR rentals, but went all out with an off-site showroom.
Named, Burton Descends on Denver, the showroom took over Denver’s City Hall music venue. (A few years back we saw Hieroglyphics and Twista kill it on stage there.) This time it was filled with all of Burton’s new 2016 snowboards and gear. The main stage area was turned into an open air campground, complete with Burton’s line of tents and camping gear.
While we work on getting together our manufacturer video previews, and doing our Shred Cred testing at Mt. Hood, enjoy Tyler’s MTV Cribs style tour of Burton Descends on Denver.
